Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU)
Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
Work Hours/Highlights:
Current Recruiting for the following positions/shifts:
Full-Time Night Shift, 7 pm to 7 am
Sign-on bonus available for Full-Time positions only - Inquire about eligibility and details
Additional hourly specialty pay is added to base pay compensation for Experience Nurses with one (1) or more years of experience.
Case-by-case reviews of other shifts will be considered for Registered Nurses who have 2+ years of MSICU or CICU experience. Shifts in the ICUs include:
Day Shift, 7 am to 7 pm (must have 2+ years of experience for Day Shift)
Evening Shift, 11am to 11pm
Night Shift, 7 pm to 7 am
You Will Be Responsible For the following:
The Registered Nurse in ICU provides care for patients that need advanced monitoring, increased observation, invasive equipment, and administration of complex medications. Under general supervision, the ICU RN implements goals of individualized quality care for adolescent, adult, and later adult populations. You will work on an award-winning 22-bed unit in a Level 1 Trauma Facility with a growing ECMO Program.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
Registered Nurse Licensure (RN): Connecticut's current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Experience: 1-3 years of nursing experience. Critical Care/ICU/Step Down experience is preferred. Per Diem positions WILL NOT train.
ACLS is required within three months of hire.
BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross will be accepted.
Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
