ARegistered Nurse (RN) working in our Skilled Nursing facility will provide day to daynursing care and ensure the safety of our residents while working to maximizetheir quality of life. This position will assist in the supervision of other healthcare workers including CNA's, CMA's and LPN's.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide primary care toresidents with varying backgrounds and medical histories
- Obtain and administerprescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursingtechniques
- Ensure residents' chart iscurrent
- Assess resident for change ofcondition
- A Registered Nurse (RN) will assist with new resident admissionprocess
- Keep residents' family andphysician informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, orconditions of health
- Communicate needs of residentto outside providers including but not limited to: Primary Care Provider, HomeHealth Agency, Pharmacy, etc
- Complete incident andaccident investigation in collaboration with other clinical personnel
- Other Duties as Assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the State of practice
