REGISTERED NURSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  
• Ensure physicians orders are implemented as instructed and offer continuous supervision for treatments and therapies as directed. 
• Develop and update assessments, care plans, and protocols as required to meet the unique needs of each person. 
• Assist the ISP team in determining the need for assessment and monitoring by other healthcare professionals (PT, OT, Dietary specialists, etc.) 
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. 
• Educate and train DSP staff to perform delegated nurse tasks per OSBN regulations and CAS policies, including G-tube procedures, insulin delivery and glucose monitoring, and other medical tasks identified. 
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and outcomes. 
• Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions with individuals served, families, and colleagues. 

REGISTERED NURSE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oregon. 
• Good standing with the Oregon Board of Nursing  
• Ability to perform physical requirements, including lifting approx. 50 lbs. 
• Successful completion of a level II background check  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
