We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in providing excellent patient care in an outpatient setting. The Nurse is responsible for assisting in the care of the hyperbaric oxygen therapy patients and the day-to-day office needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for providing quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians with initial hyperbaric appointments.
- Retrieving patient medical records from required physicians to support need for hyperbaric oxygen therapy and the patients care.
- Requesting authorization of hyperbaric treatments from insurance companies.
- Care plan for each hyperbaric patient.
- Making appointments and follow-up calls.
- Answer telephone inquiries and schedule patient treatment times.
- Completing facility checklist.
- Performs dressing changes and/or wound care within your scope of practice, as ordered by the providers.
- Takes serial photographs of wounds for reporting of patient’s progress.
- Reviews any adverse events within the hyperbaric suite with the medical director and management.
- Evaluate the patient outcome and meet with management and providers to discuss patient care plan and adjust care plan as necessary.
- Documentation on all patient interactions.
- Assist provider and chamber operator if any emergent hyperbaric events.
- Assist chamber operator with patients in/out of the hyperbaric gurney to/from wheelchairs.
- Assist chamber operator with positioning patients on gurney.
- Helping chamber operators with daily opening and closing of chambers.
- Participates in staff meetings.
- Acts in the role of the safety officer within the hyperbaric suite.
- Maintains a safe environment and follows all ROC policies and procedures.
- Use of lift devices for patient care.
- Completing any job duties management deems necessary for the daily operations of ROC.
Physical / Functional Job Requirements:
Must be able to:
- Lift 50 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
