Job Description:

We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team on a contract basis in Indianapolis, IN. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across various units within our healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and patient education, in accordance with established protocols and nursing standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, identifying changes in condition and implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, safety regulations, and organizational policies to promote a safe and healing environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, fostering open communication and collaboration.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including 3 x 12 or 5 x 8 schedules, based on departmental needs.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Indiana, in good standing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as a Registered Nurse in a hospital environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients of diverse backgrounds and acuities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
