Summary
Our Downtown Public Health team is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) who will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in Refugee screening clinic, conducting health screenings to Refugee individuals and families. Our multidisciplinary teams include Nurses, medical assistant, admin staff, Interpreters, patient navigators, consulting provider. The responsibilities include conducting detail health screening, Immunization reconciliation and vaccine administration, coordinating follow up plans with community health centers and PCP offices, triage immediate medical needs, results review and patient education. The RN facilitates and assures daily clinic activities and operations. The RN delegates tasks to the health care team within the scope of practice to achieve desirable patient outcomes and efficient clinic functioning.

- Conducts detailed health screenings to refugee individuals and families using nursing assessments and interventions, patient care planning, evaluation, and medical care coordination.
- Maintains the clinic environment, coordinates the patient care team efforts, delegates task, and directs clinic flow.
- Obtains, reconcile and documents health history, vaccines, medications.
- Administers vaccines and documents in electronic health record - epic.
- Participates and assists in the training and orientation of health care professional students and new employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- Requires current Washington State Registered Nurse license or Multi-State Licensure in good standing.
- Associate preparation in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- BLS-CPR for healthcare providers
- Valid Washington State Driver's License or ability to travel to various sites within Seattle-King County.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
Work Schedule: This a Term-Limited Temporary or Special Duty Assignment is a 1.0 FTE, fully benefited position. The typical schedule will fall within Downtown Public Health's normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday 0800 to 1700 but may work outside the schedule to meet operational needs. This position will require travel to other sites within the Public Health System as needed. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime. This is an onsite position.
