Spokane Urology is opening a new surgery center to advance our services and plan of care for patient in our community. As a new facility, our center is an amazing opportunity for highly skilled individuals to create and offer an all-new patient experience in Spokane. The RN functions as an integral member of the team and is responsible for providing personalized patient care as either an RN Circulator or RN Pre-Operative setting. The RN’s communication, conduct and performance should support the ASC efforts in becoming a High Performance Organization.
Core Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Provide nursing care in out patient surgery setting.
- Ability to safely care for patients autonomously and with your team members.
- Maintain a clean, neat and efficient working environment.
- Perform ECG, urine pregnancy, glucometer, bladder scan, insertion of PIV as required.
- Manage patient’s admission to the ASC, recovery, and discharge from the ASC.
- Ensure patients consents are accurate and complete.
- Manage emergency situations and provide effective resuscitation using bag/valve/mask.
- Follow established policies and procedures related to the position.
- Prepare patients for discharge and provide discharge instruction education.
- Understand and deliver quality customer service.
- Adapt and perform effectively in a continuously changing environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor RN.
Licenses: Active RN License for Washington State
Additional Qualifications:
- Current Washington State RN license.
- BLS required, ACLS certification also required, but may be obtained within the first three months of hire.
- OR, PACU, ER or ICU experience required.
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks
- Outstanding written and verbal communication

Salary: $37.00 - $58.00 per hour
