Position: Progressive CareRegistered Nurse ( RN )
Shift:
- Full-time: Nights 7pm - 7:30am, rotating weekends and holiday schedule.
- On-call Requirements: Census-driven. On-Call Response Time: 1 hour from notification time. On-call has opportunity to supplement with PTO (They can choose whether to take PTO or go in, if the census is low ONLY). Rate when called in is regular hourly rate.
Pay: Depends on experience, starting at $34.68/hr plus benefits; Shift Differential: $3.00/hour for PM, $4.50 for Nights, $1.90 for Weekends/Holidays.

Position Requirements:
- License: IL RN License
- Certifications: BLS; ACLS
- Experience: 1-2 years of critical care RN experience
- Education: Associates required with BSN within 5 years.
About the Unit
The Progressive Care Unit has a with a wide range of diagnoses. COPD exacerbation, STEMI, respiratory/cardiac arrest, neuro/cardiac/vascular surgery with a 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 nurse to patient ratio. Many opportunities for education and growth within the department and the hospital!
- Provide professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Employ critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
- Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals
