What you will do in this role:
Demonstrates the ability to performspecific competencies as listed on the competency validation checklist(s).- Demonstrates age specific knowledgeof human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care ofpatients.
- Ensures the privacy of our patientand confidentiality of their Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Meets mutually agreed uponperformance goals/objectives as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
- Utilizes nursing process forindividual care to meet needs of patients.
- Demonstrates ability to performtechnical skills and procedures.
- Documents all patient care.
- Demonstrates critical thinkingskills.
- Promotes customer serviceinitiatives.
- Promotes and exhibits teamwork.
- Completes mandatory education.
- Complies with hospitalpolicies/procedures and patient safety initiatives.
What qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing- Current TX RN licensure
- Minimum of one year ICU experience or successful completion of ICU Internship program
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BLCLS) and Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
