Positions include skilled-nursing visits, block hour visits, school nursing, group homes, etc.
Registered Nurses typically have a broader scope of practice and may have additional responsibilities such as administering intravenous medications, supervising other nursing staff, and developing care plans.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
Assessing patients' health status and vital signs.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or other healthcare providers.
Monitoring patients' conditions and symptoms and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educating patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care practices.
Performing diagnostic tests and analyzing the results.
Providing wound care and other basic medical procedures.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Advocating for patients' needs and rights.
Assisting with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Following all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in nursing practice.
