The Registered Nurse – Pre-op/Procedural/Recovery (RN) will be part of a professional care team responsible for assisting in vascular/ endovascular surgical procedures. Will collaborate with all members of the care team to provide exceptional care and compassion to our patient population and the families we serve.
Skills required
The Registered Nurse –Procedural (RN) will possess strong written, verbal, and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills. Will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task. Will be able to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated. Will possess a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness, organization, teamwork, and skills in EMR.
This role will admit and discharge patients for their procedure.
Responsible for obtaining health, surgical and medication histories, obtaining vital signs, answering patient questions, obtaining consent for surgical procedures, monitoring vital signs post procedure and assist in obtaining follow up appointments.
Experience:
- Nursing: ASN or BSN
- Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center setting (Preferred)
- Experience providing procedural sedation (Preferred)
- Experience in interventional radiology and vascular procedures (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- ACLS Certification
- RN license in Indiana

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
