AKDSC is looking for a dedicated reliable Registered Nurse for PACU. Must have positive attitude, hard-working and detail oriented. Individuals who prides themselves on their skills, abilities and commitment to patient care are highly desired. The ideal candidates should have PACU experience.
Excellent work environment! No call, no weekends, no night shifts!
Bilingual a plus.
Pre Op Nurse Responsibilities:
- Complete history and physical
- Record vital statistics and ensure readiness for surgical procedure.
- Assess, instruct & prepare patients prior to surgery.
- Ensure that operative and informed consents are signed and correct
PACU Nurse Responsibilities:
- Frequently check PACU patients, monitoring their vital signs and other post-surgical factors.
- Review each patient’s medical history, taking note of important information.
- Provide patients and their family clear discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with medical and dental personnel as necessary to provide quality patient care.
- Complete post op calls and patient follow ups.
PACU Nurse Requirements:
- Active RN License with no restrictions
- RN degree from an accredited Registered Nurse program
- BLS Required
- PALS within 3 months
- 1+ years of PACU nursing experience preferred
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
