Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a PRN Perianesthesia Registered Nurse (RN), in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Perianesthesia Registered Nurse (RN) for our Same Day Surgery Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member.
As an Perianesthesia RN you will be responsible for:
- Administering medication and treatments
- Admitting and assessing patients
- Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
- Running and ordering tests
- Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
- Charting Patient Progress
- Compassionately communicating with patients and family members.
- Paying attention to detail and staying organized when managing patient care and record keeping
- Understanding applicable state regulations and following compliance practices
- Assessing patient condition and noting it accurately according to the facility's charting practices
- Graduate of an accredited associate degree, Diploma, or Baccalaureate Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
- Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state. BLS required. ACLS preferred.
