Job Title: Registered Nurse PCU

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our progressive care unit (PCU) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with serious medical conditions who require close monitoring and specialized treatment. As a Registered Nurse in the PCU, you will work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients' families to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and symptoms
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Respond to medical emergencies and quickly assess and address critical situations
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Stay up-to-date on the latest medical treatments and technologies
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of employment
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a PCU or critical care unit
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to providing compassionate and empathetic patient care
