Form of workLiberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a part-time Registered Nurse position with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.
This program operates within the two San Mateo County jails and serves adults who are justice involved and experiencing mental illness.
Objectives include facilitating early access to mental health assessment and treatment – and providing effective competency training and restoration services.
This nursing role involves:
- Working onsite at the Maguire Correctional Facility and Maple Street Correctional Center in Redwood City
- Providing nursing services to program clients within the jails
- Patient education
- Actively participating in treatment team meetings
- Collaborating with Psychiatrists, licensed clinicians and ancillary professionals
You can expect starting compensation in the range of $60.00 to $67.00 per hour (depending on qualifications).
Liberty offers a flexible part-time schedule with daytime hours and the option to work one or two 8-hour shifts each week.
