The Registered NurseOutpatient Ophthalmology role is available our Main Campus, Per Diem hours.
In the Fluorescein Department and Morse Laser Center, shifts will be available 1-4 days per week 8:30a-5p. The RN will assist by starting IV's and injecting dye to assist the photographers prior to taking pictures of the back of the eye of patients.
The Registered Professional Nurse maintains the standards of professional nursing practice and demonstrates competence for patient care through the utilization of the nursing process. The process includes continuous assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and education. The Registered Nurse directs and guides ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed and current registered as a professional nurse in Massachusetts.
- At least 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience is preferred.
- Related experience required for advanced clinical and specialty areas.
- Demonstrates leadership activities; ability to work under stressful situations and demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
