Overview:

The Registered Nurse will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment and Care:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health needs and concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
Patient Education:
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Provide instructions on medication management, self-care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Foster a supportive and informative environment to empower patients in managing their health.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care protocols.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records.
- Document all nursing interventions, patient responses, and changes in health status.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational documentation standards.
Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Stay informed about current evidence-based practices and integrate them into clinical care.
Patient Advocacy:
- Advocate for patients' rights and preferences in the healthcare decision-making process.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to address ethical dilemmas and ensure patient autonomy.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous experience in outpatient or ambulatory care settings is a plus.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) may be required depending on clinic specialization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
