Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team in the Outpatient Clinic. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, demonstrating clinical expertise and a commitment to promoting wellness. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment and Care:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health needs and concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.

Patient Education:

• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Provide instructions on medication management, self-care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Foster a supportive and informative environment to empower patients in managing their health.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care protocols.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records.
• Document all nursing interventions, patient responses, and changes in health status.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational documentation standards.

Quality Improvement:

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.
• Stay informed about current evidence-based practices and integrate them into clinical care.

Patient Advocacy:

• Advocate for patients' rights and preferences in the healthcare decision-making process.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to address ethical dilemmas and ensure patient autonomy.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in outpatient or ambulatory care settings is a plus.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) may be required depending on clinic specialization.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
