Registered Nurse Opportunity

Maximus has immediate openings for Licensed RN’s within the state of TN

This opportunity is part-time contract work, licensed RNs will administer Appeal assessments of the state’s TennCare CHOICES Program PAE (Pre-Admission Evaluation) Assessment and are compensated for each completed assessment. We are offering a wonderful opportunity to earn extra money, set your own schedule while providing a valuable service to the adult citizens of Tennessee. This contract does require a face-to-face assessment which generally takes place in a nursing or LTC facility, hospital, and residential settings.

We are looking for candidates primarily in the Eastern side of Tennessee, we are covered in the Memphis area.

RN Assessor Responsibilities/ Duties/ Expectations:

• This position will administer Appeal assessments and are compensated for each completed assessment.

• Assessment typically takes on average 2-3 hours.

• Must have flexibility to submit completed assessments by 12 Noon the Second Business Day.

RN and Mental Health Counselor Qualifications/Requirements:

• Candidates must have an active RN license within the state of TN

• At least 2 years professional experience of direct nursing, physical rehabilitation, and acute care experience.

• Experience with completing assessments is preferred

• Windows PC is required to complete assessments.

• Conflict of Interest would include currently employed by the state of Tennessee, nursing home or long-term care facility and or being employed by a managed care organization.

Appeal Assessments are designed to ensure that qualified individuals receive the appropriate, needed long-term care services through the state TennCare CHOICES Program.
