Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center has recently affiliated with Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) to provide cancer screening and consultations in our Outpatient Clinic. With onsite direct oversight by MSK Providers.
DUTIES
As an Outpatient Clinic RN, you will work autonomously performing a variety of healthcare duties including:
- Assessing and evaluating the needs of oncology patients.
- Providing direct patient care in accordance with Oncology standards.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement and evaluate the plan of care.
- Translating, interpreting, and explaining cancer care options to patients and caregivers.
- Completing, documenting, and updating electronic medical records.
- Assisting with the management of urgent and emergent patient care situations.
- Assisting with managing patients with multiple chronic health conditions.
PREFERRED CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Must have a current New York State RN license
- Oncology Certification (OCN) preferred.
- Prior oncology experience but willing to train.
SALARY: $50.08 /hr. - $54.14/hr. DOE Plus 1199 Union Benefits
