Job Description:

Universal Healthcare Resources is seeking a highly qualified Occupational HealthRegistered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Lathrop, CA. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the health and well-being of employees within various occupational settings. If you are a skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for Occupational Health and safety, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough health assessments for employees, including pre-employment screenings, health evaluations, and immunizations.
• Collaborate with employers to develop and implement effective Occupational Health programs that promote employee wellness and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Administer and coordinate vaccination programs, ensuring employees are up-to-date on required vaccinations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care to employees in the workplace, as needed.
• Conduct health and safety training sessions for employees, addressing topics such as injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for employees, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate appropriate care and compliance with Occupational Health standards.
• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Occupational Health and safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Health nursing.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
