ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our OBGYN practice located at 137 West High Street #3b, Elkton, MD 21921. This position will provide both patient care and telephone triage support.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 am-4:30 pm
- no weekends or holidays
Position Highlights
- Provides telephone triage support for a well-established Women's Health Practice. There are a total of 2 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.
- Obtains authorizations for tests, procedures, and medications.
- Applies critical thinking skills and women's health experience to help patients navigate questions and concerns.
- Responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to nurse visits, blood draws, blood pressure checks, injections, fetal monitoring assessments, and patient education.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A graduate of a state-approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
- Two years experience as an RN, physician office experience preferred.
- BSN preferred; ADN considered with the agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years.
Special Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the State of Maryland.
- BLS certification is required.
