Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Nights

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for a position at our Substance Use Disorder facility located in Deerfield Beach, FL

This position is ideal for candidates seeking a full-time NIGHT position

Qualifications

• Experience working in behavioral health, addition and/ or substance abuse setting required
• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of Associate Degree
• Current Florida State License as Registered Nurse
• IV & Phlebotomy proficient preferred
• Knowledge of drug classifications and respective medication protocol
• KIPU knowledge preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Proof of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or obtaining
  

Essential Job Function of the Registered Nurse - Nights

• Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, including transcribing and administering routine and prescribed medications in accordance with procedures established by the Medical Director and Director of Nursing
• Excels at performing vigilant observation
• Completes documentation of patients’ medical histories and current symptoms
• Specializes in the provision of pain management treatment through the initial process of detoxification
