The Opportunity:
We are hiring a Part Time NICU nurse for our East location in Lee's Summit. This is a level III NICU
Schedule:
Night Shift
Position works: 3 12 hours shifts 1 week and 2 12 hours shifts the next week
Flexible Staffing and Scheduling Available
Responsibilities:
Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
Previous NICU experience strongly preferred.
We are looking for experienced nurses who are adaptable, flexible, detail oriented, team player, and possess strong time management skills. As a Registered Nurse on this team, you will need to thrive in unpredictable environments and enjoy providing care to all acuity levels. Experience in a NICU or Pediatrics is preferred, but not required.
