The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (4 - 10 hour shifts) 9a - 7:30p
On call is required (1 night a week and 1 weekend every 5. Rotating holiday schedule)

Entry Pay: $32.50
Licensed and Unlicensed RN
The New Grad RN position is for those who have graduated nursing school and been licensed with the state of Montana with less than one year of RN experience. Those hired as a New Grad RN are required to have their RN license verified and an active BLS. In conjunction with working on this unit, New Grad RNs attend Intermountain's one-year nurse residency program. The nurse residency program supports New Grad RNs in their transition from classroom to caregiver through 72 paid clinical hours, webinars, simulations, case studies, and quarterly in person meetings. **RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.
