Job Title: Full-Time School Nurse (RN)
Location: Waukegan, IL
Soliant Health is proud to announce a full-time opening for a School Nurse (RN) in partnership with a confidential School District in Waukegan, IL. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to the health and well-being of students. Responsibilities:
Provide direct health care services to students and staff
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Conduct health assessments and screenings
Develop and implement individualized health plans
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Promote a healthy school environment
Participate in professional development opportunities
Adhere to state and School District health policies
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of Illinois
BSN degree preferred
Experience in School nursing or pediatric nursing is a plus
CPR and First Aid certification
Strong munication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Knowledge of state health regulations and guidelines
