• Weekend: Yes every other (Fri-Sun)
• Floating: Yes MS units, between Manchester and Rockville
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Local Traveler Info:

• Candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered local. Local candidates are NOT accepted.

Required Certifications:

• State license (CT or compact)
• BCLS

Required Experience:

• 2 Years of experience
• EPIC charting
• Phlebotomy

Preferred Experience:

• Unit Accepts 1st time traveler with strong MS experience
• Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias
• IV/Phlebotomy experience

Additional info about the unit:

• Day Staffing Ratios: 1:5-7
• Night Staffing Ratios: 1:6-7
• The med-surg travelers will be in a general med-surg float pool and will float to where needed within med-surg. We do provide patient care to all med-surg type patients including general surgery and ortho/neuro post op.
