We are D. C. Powell and Associates, Inc., a regionally based nurse travel agency that specialize in placing acute care Registered Nurses at our local customer based hospitals throughout the State of Virginia,

Whether you would like to travel to Virginia's Northern, Western, Central Regions, or work locally in our own Region of Southeastern Virginia,, where we provide support in four (4) cities to include Portsmouth, Franklin, Suffolk, and uptown Newport News., respectively.

Our goal is to always offer our Registered Nurse professionals the highest possible hourly pay rate per contract, place you on your preferred shifts, at a hospital closest to your home, with the highest possibility of extending a successfully completed contract, and lastly....get him/her home to your families every day.

These Registered Nurse assignments are typically 13-week local contracts, with 3/12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. We have both day and night shifts available and look forward to speaking to you about how we as a team can work together to obtain the optimal contract for you.

Registered Nurse Requirements:

• Licensure/Certification: Current nursing license, in good standing with the Virginia State licensing board/compact.
• Experience: Minimal of one year experience in specialty.
• Minimal of 1-year as a licensed Registered Nurse.

Registered Nurse Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
