```Responsibilities:```
- Perform pre-operative assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing necessary supplies and instruments
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety throughout the surgical process
- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the physician
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families
```Skills:```
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in ambulatory surgery center protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of airway management techniques and equipment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide optimal patient care
- Experience in caring for patients with various medical conditions, including CT scans, occupational health, assisted living, pain management, and dementia care
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
What qualifications you will need:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
- Previous experience of Operating Room Nursing is required
