Elitecare Medical staffing is looking to hire Registered Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses for an Instructor Positions. Instructors will be responsible for teaching theory and practical. If you provide quality nursing and are skilled to teach, then apply now. Immediate start available.
Hours:
- We need clinicals days instructor (0630-1530) including weekends for make up
- We need clinical evenings instructor (1530-0030) on Mondays/Wednesdays and weekends for make up.
- We need a theory/skills instructor for Tues and Thursdays 1530-2300 and Friday 1400-1900
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision of students at clinical sites (exception is preceptorship).
- Maintain presence at the clinical facility when students are in attendance (instructors should never leave students unattended at a clinical site).
- Demonstrate a knowledge of curriculum
- Serve as a example for students
- Teach a course load as assigned, including preparation for and instruction of theory classes and clinical laboratory experiences.
Qualifications:
-An Active California RN or LVN license with a degree from an accredited school
-An active American Heart Basic Life Support Card
-At least 2 recent years of RN or LVN experience
-Great communication skills
