Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intermediate Care unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care for individuals who require intermediate level nursing care. You will work closely with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Care unit
- Monitor and assess patient condition, including vital signs and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist physicians with procedures and treatments
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an Intermediate Care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
