Job Description:
The RN must maintain a current, full, active and unrestricted registration to continue employment with VA.
Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited
Provide specialized care to patients who require a level of monitoring and intervention between that provided in general medical-surgical units and intensive Care Units.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, cardiac monitoring, neurological assessment, and respiratory status
Administer medications according to physician orders, including IV medications, titration of vasopressors or inotropes, and pain management
May work in various settings, including step-down units, progressive Care Units, telemetry units, and post-anesthesia Care Units
Qualification:
License: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license - Any state license works
Education: BSN / ASN
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Good to have TNCC, PCCN
Experience: Minimum 3 year of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 years as Intermediate Care/Step Down
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $800,000.00 - $900,000.00 per year
