ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Completes nursing assessment thoroughly and in a timely manner within facility guidelines. Assessment includes all required screenings and components.
- Communicates effectively with physicians and ensures orders are accurate and carried out accordingly.
- Accurately documents on treatment plan illustrating patient progress or need for additional problem or intervention identification.
- Follows policy and procedure and involves next line of leadership as needed to resolve issues.
- Intervenes appropriately in crisis situations.

Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required
- Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements: CPR certification, CPI and Verbal De-Escalation Certifications provided by Brentwood Hopsital.
- Hours: PRN - Weekends, 8 hour shifts
