Registered Nurse, In-Home Care

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care in patients homes, approximately 25-50 hours per month providing assessments, reassessments and nursing care as detailed in plan of care, (wound care, infusions, etc.)

• Approximately 20-25 hours per week, in and around Racine, WI

• Comfortable commuting to/from multiple homes/locations, (Union Grove, VA hospital), as required to see patients

• Implement treatment and plan of care using sound judgment and critical thinking.

• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the care plan and nursing processes.

• Perform all skills, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the company policy, procedures, and protocols.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin

• 1+ years hands-on nursing experience

• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.)

• Successfully pass all drug, background and other pre-hire screens as defined by employer

• Proof of valid driver's license and current auto insurance

• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull

• Must be able to lift or transfer up to 50 pounds
