REGISTERED NURSE ICU - Per Diem
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse supporting the ICU assures competent, compassionate and individualized nursing care for a group of patients within a unit or other primary area of practice. Ensures that care is safe, efficient, effective, timely, and meets the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of patients and their families consistent with New England Baptist Hospital's mission and core values. Collaborates with other members of the patient care team to plan and coordinate patient care goals and achieve optimal patient outcomes. Recognizes patient care needs and works to establish a comprehensive plan of care. Responsible for maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and New England Baptist Hospital standards, policies and procedures.
Consistently meets the NEBH Clinical Nursing I and Clinical Nursing II Competencies.
Job Requirements
Education/Licensure and Certifications:
BSN required. Current/Valid Nursing professional license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and ACLS Required.
Experience and Skills:
Current ICU experience required.
