Shift Timing:- 7AM -3:30 PM

Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional:- BP Cuff, Pulse ox, AED/Emergency bag, Glucometer, Fax machine, Omnicell. Radio.
Good Assessment skills to assess patient’s medical needs
Communicate with physician if changes in medical needs of patient. Obtain orders, fax orders to pharmacy. Get medication or treatments from pharmacy and deliver to cottages, when needed.
Assess patients to determine emergencies medical needs of patients, stabilize patient, initiate CPR and prepare to send out 911.
Complete Guardian notification of medical emergencies and injuries according to Komino’s law, when necessary. Write notification of Guardian in binder.
Initiate Kominos law, according to in service training.
Cover patients and communicate with cottage nurses on grounds as assigned. Float nurse- Carry radio for communication, carry AED when assigned and respond to code 100.
Provide treatment to patients as needed, carry 24 hour nursing report, write report as provided by cottage nurses. Write on and maintain 24 hour nursing report then pass on report to oncoming shift.
Medication administration and provide treatments to patients as needed.
Document in Binder as directed, use SOAP note format.
On off hours and weekends, get medications or treatments from Omnicell
Give report to oncoming shift
Work on weekends
Assess patients medical needs, communicate to doctor, get physician orders, write orders, fax orders to pharmacy , write notes using SOAP format
