We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for geriatric care to join our team. As a Registered Nurse specializing in geriatrics at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly patients.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for geriatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and personalized care
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Stay up-to-date with geriatric nursing practices and participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in geriatrics
- Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and practices
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Floating Requirements: Must float to similar units
Experience Required: 12 months experience in last 18 months
Experience Preferred: PCC Charting
License Required: MO State
License Certificates Required: BLS
