Position: Registered Nurse 7W General Surgery
Pay: Based on experience, estimated range $29.25 - $49.14; Shift Differentials: PM $3.50/hr, Nights $5/hr, Weekends $10/hr

Shift: Nights 7pm - 7am; Weekends/Holiday: Rotating weekend and preassigned holiday rotation.
Position Requirements:
License: NC RN
Certifications: BLS
Experience: 1 year of RN
Education: Associates but must have BSN within 7 years
About the Unit
This is a post-surgical unit with surgeons performing innovative procedures with exciting ways for RNs to enhance skills and gain more experience. This department works close with wound ostomy care team with education in wound care from experts in the field.
Patient Population: Post-surgical unit with various types of diagnoses on a 30 bed unit.
Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5/6
Monitor vital signs and administer medications;
Provide wound care (especially if the facility does not have a wound care RN);
Facilitate transportation to a rehabilitation facility, long-term care facility, home, etc.
