PRN II requirements: 4 (12 hour shifts) per pay period
Shift: Nights
Base Rate: $58/hr.

Job Summary and QualificationsWhat You Will Do In This Role:
- Responsible for delivery of professional nursing care and treatment of the neonatal patient from birth to the continuum of care in the NICU assigned patients, performs nursing assessments/ care plan/ implementation of treatment/ evaluation of treatment/ and discharge planning.
- Document nursing care in compliance with policies procedures and practices established by the Nursing Department and the hospitals.
- Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
- Management of Level III Neonates (Mechanical Ventilation, Oxygen administration, Hemodynamic Monitoring, Administration of vasopressor drugs, Phototherapy, Hypoglycemia etc.).
- Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
- Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team members and ancillary services.
- You will be a resource for our Medical City hospitals in the West Pod: Alliance, Arlington, Fort Worth, Las Colinas, North Hills, Decatur and Weatherford.
- You will be at your assigned hospital for a duration of 12 weeks at a time.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse
- Graduate of a School of Nursing. ASN is required, BSN required within 24 months of hire
- Must have at least 18 months of experience in an acute care hospital and 1 year in relevant specialty.
