Salary- Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Must be a BLS Instructor - Must hold Provisional BLS certification - Must have a Registered Nurse (RN) license (Single State) - RN license must also be Multi-state Compact - Must hold Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - Must be an ACLS Instructor - Must hold Provisional ACLS certification - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred - Being a PALS Instructor is preferred - Holding Provisional PALS certification is preferred.
