NEED: EP RN
SHIFT: day shift 4/10's 7 AM - 5:30 PM, EOW, EOH One call stay shift per week (5p-7p to finish cases, cases occasionally go beyond 7p), one weekend of call per month (8a-12p/ 4hours on-call only on Saturday and Sunday, latest call in for the day could be 12p which would mean the case would extend until 2p or 3p)
Our EP RNs will need to be able to circulate and document all EP procedures including device work (iePacemakers), ablations, lead extractions, watchmans, and cardioversions.
They will need to have an understanding of Cardiolab and the bloom stimulator.
We do prefer to do a quick interview with them to be sure that they have the experience we need to walk in and help out within 2 weeks max.
We do roughly 4500 procedures in our EP lab per year. We are a very busy lab with a 25 minute turnaround time between cases. We typically staff are labs with 2 RNs and 1 RT.
Requirements:
1.5 years of SD or CC experience Large hospital exp
BLS-ACLS, EP procedural experience, intermediate or critical care experience
Must be able to read & interpret Telemetry independently. 1,059 bed magnet hospital and level II trauma center.
Epic EMR, navy scrubs.
