Pay Rate: $77.78 per hour | $2,800 weekly

Shift: 3x12s - 36 hrs per wk - D/E/N Rotating.

Job description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in Rochester, NY. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals in need of immediate medical attention.

Responsibilities:

- Assess patients' conditions and prioritize urgent medical needs

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering appropriate care and treatments

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide continuous medical evaluations

- Perform emergency medical procedures, such as CPR, wound care, and airway management

- Update patient records and document all necessary information accurately

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff following infection control guidelines

- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting

- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing care, including triage, assessment, and patient stabilization

- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team

- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
