Are you a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland looking for a GREAT Opportunity? Enjoy a new, rewarding position if you're a Registered Nurse with experience caring for patients in need of treatment for general medical conditions or surgical procedures in a 8 week contract at a state-of-the-art area hospital.
Shift:12 H nights
Contract:8 weeks
- Weekend and Holidays required
Requirements:
- RN with a minimum of 2+ yrs experience
- must be comfortable in a fast passed environment under pressure
- BLS and ACLS required.
- not able to consider Nursing Graduate/RNs for this unit.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Emergency Room Nurse Duties and Responsibilities
- Quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
- Work collaboratively with doctors and staff to provide exceptional care
- Perform all requested diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans collaboratively with doctors and staff
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually
- Comply with all legal and safety requirements at all times
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment
- Work at maximum efficiency without compromising quality of care
- Abide by all hospital rules and regulations
- Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
- Monitor coworkers and voice concerns to minimize errors
- Provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
- Attend all required training and continuing education events
Pay Rate
- Weekday $66 and Weekend $68
