Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Nights)

THIS IS A STRAIGHT NIGHTS POSITION

SIGN ON BONUS - $30K - MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YR OF EMERGENCY DEPT. EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the emergency room
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist in emergency medical procedures such as cardiac catheterization and pain management
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Experience:

- MUST HAVE A CONNECTICUT RN LICENSE
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing principles, procedures, and protocols
- Experience in critical care, behavioral health, memory care, or home care is a plus
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment, neonatal ventilator support, and inhalation therapy is preferred

Pay: $43.48 - $60.00 per hour
