Responsibilities:
- Administer medication, therapies, and treatments; execute disease prevention measures and obtain diagnostic specimens.
- Participate in team efforts, complete summaries, assist with rounds, and implement physician orders.
- Perform ongoing assessments, provide therapeutic interventions, and document progress.
- Document all nursing activities, including assessments, interventions, and education.
- Maintain optimal care standards, enforce safety protocols, and ensure infection control compliance.
Qualifications:
- Active California RN license
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant Emergency Room nursing experience
- CPR or BLS Certification
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Recent Physical and TB Test (within one year)
- Willingness to travel within a 20-30 mile radius
- Valid Driver's License or State ID
- Full COVID vaccination with booster shot
- Availability for all shifts, including weekends
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1-2
- COVID patient interaction required
- Dress Code: Scrubs (Appropriate color)
- EMR: Meditech
- First Shift requires RN to be 15 min early
- Approved OT requires completion of an Approval Sheet with Staffing Coordinator/House Supervisor
- OT approval is contingent upon documentation signed by the Charge Nurse or House Supervisor
