Job Description: Registered Nurse Dialysis

Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Shift Schedule: 7a-7p 3x12 Days

Salary: $3000/WK

Stipend: $1162/WK

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessment of patients prior to dialysis treatment, taking into account their medical history, current condition, and vital signs.
• Administer medications, monitor blood pressure, and ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of dialysis treatment.
• Monitor patients during dialysis treatment, identifying and addressing any adverse reactions or changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, diet restrictions, and self-care techniques.
• Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of dialysis equipment, instruments, and treatment areas.
• Comply with institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to ensure the highest quality of patient care and safety.
• Document patient information, treatment plans, and observations accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy towards patients, family members, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Valid Nursing license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a dialysis care setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and treatment modalities.
