As a Registered Nurse II, you will play a crucial role in providing professional nursing care for patients, families, and communities. Utilizing a systematic approach that incorporates assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and personalized care for all individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of patients and families to identify health needs.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Implement care plans and document patient responses accurately.
- Provide patient education to promote informed decision-making and enhance health outcomes.
- Facilitate access to medical and health care, nursing interventions, and follow-up services.
- Practice ethically and uphold professional standards.
- Communicate effectively and engage with patients and colleagues.
- Collaborate and work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and contribute to the advancement of nursing practice.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Education: Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Work Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of recent and related Registered Nurse (RN) experience required.
- Special Training, Certification, or Licensure: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License and current CPR/BLS certification required. ACLS required. Certification in a relevant specialty preferred.
