What We Need:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a CVICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being. What You Will Do:

- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygen saturation levels
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform invasive procedures such as arterial line insertions and central venous catheterizations
- Assist with cardiac monitoring, including electrocardiograms (ECGs) and telemetry monitoring
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiovascular health management
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient environment

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Registered Nurse License

BLS obtained from American heart Association.

ACLS obtained from American heart Association.

NIHSS Certification

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

This is a 26-bed cardiac open-heart cardiac thoracic vascular unit. RN MUST have 2+ years of open-heart experience. ACLS/BLS/NIH Required. Recent EPIC experience is required and must be provided on resume within the last year. Must be independent in obtaining labs and initiating IV's. CVICU Skills checklist is required upon submission. Ratios are usually 1:1 or 1:2 but can go up to 1:3.

Local and traveler Nurses both can apply.
