Registered Nurse Critical Care

Are you a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Critical Care or ICU Registered Nurse? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to provide unparallel one-on-one Home Care to a patient in Houston, TX. This role requires a committed Registered Nurse with previous experience in Critical Care, intensive care or a long-term acute care setting.

Requirements

• Assess patient needs during each visit and provide ongoing care according to caregiver, and doctor(s) plan of care.
• Deliver nursing care to a patient in a long-term acute, Critical Care rehabilitation environment.
• Collaborate and communicate with patient's care teams such as the caregivers, physician, and other medical providers associated with your patient.
• Adhere to patient privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
• Participate in the development and revision of patient assessments and care plans.
• Utilize appropriate resources to meet patient needs including administration of medication and aiding with additional care as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• 4+ years in ICU or Critical Care settings
• Experience in providing acute care to patients in LTAC or similar setting.
• Ability to accurately monitor and record vital signs of patients.
• Familiarity with respiratory therapies and tube feeding procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
