The RN Cath Lab is responsible for the care and safety of the patient's undergoing procedures where radiation exposure is required for imaging studies. The nurse will be required to have an advanced understanding of hemodynamics, EKG interpretation, cardiac medications, and vasopressor drips, as well as a strong working knowledge of vascular anatomy. This position must have experience in moderate sedation and airway management and have experience working within a sterile environment. In need of the certifications listed below? Qualifications
- On-call status is a requirement, and the nurse must be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call.
- 2 years nursing experience in cath lab, critical care, or emergency department
Required Licenses: Registered Nurse in Texas (TBON)
Certifications:
- ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
- Handle with Care (within 90 days of hire)
- BLS (within 60 days of hire)
